Left back when I was in primary school, then goalkeeper from then on. Quite an achievement as I am only five foot five. As an adult played goalkeeper in a tour of Kenya, again in goal. I played in their national stadium in Nairobi.
I played rugby from eleven to thirty-one I played centre and wing, happy days.

Left footed so left wing when I was young but moved into the middle behind the CF when I played for a team in the Thurrock Sunday League, he was a big bloke so it kept me warm on those windy Sunday mornings over Orsett Heath....

Prime = left midfield
Senior = left back

Striker or a winger on either side, as I was nippy and skilful.
Bang average in the air though, awful timing with my jumps.
Never played for Emerson park as was a big swimmer and long distance runner then, but thoroughly enjoyed following the year above around the country (free days off of school, happy days), as they made the all England final which was played at chesters ground.
Must have been around 1988 and there was violence at every game. Not good when there were only ever about 15 of us and hundreds of them! Mr Tomkins the lunatic welsh pe teacher loved throwing kids around though, so all good.

Emerson Park always had a good team. Both the Cowley brothers went there (life long friends and neighbours growing up) as did Lee Godwin and if my memory serves me right so did Mark Gower of Southend United and Swansea

Striker. Scored at Upton Park from a cross by Rod Stewart in a game prior to Steve Potts testimonial in 1997. And yes I tell everyone.

I had trials at Oxford and Reading (both breach of the peace)
Reckon I could have turned pro... if it wasn't for a series of niggling own goals.
